Background
Community Health Charities (CHC) was formed in January 2000, when Combined Health Appeal merged with National Voluntary Health Agency of Missouri and National Voluntary Health Agency of Kansas.

CHC is a coalition of local and national voluntary health agencies whose primary mission is to provide...

• life-saving medical research
  
  
• direct patient services, such as specialized summer camps and clinics, screenings, support groups, therapy, and equipment loans
  
  
• educational efforts for the general public and the professional healthcare community

CHC is registered as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation with the Internal Revenue Service and is active across the states of Kansas and Missouri.
